Setting the Standard Higher for our community through high quality assessment and treatment

TELEHEALTH

Telehealth (also known as teletherapy, telemental health, and telepsychology) is the use of phones, computers, tablets or other devices to connect with your mental health provider remotely. You may also hear this referred to as virtual visits. If you have used FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, etc, then you are already an expert!

Telehealth has allowed more people to get the services that they need without the barrier of traffic, transportation, or scheduling issues. Although most of our clients will be appropriate for this method of treatment, the clinician will make the final determination after an accurate assessment.

If video is not an option, we can also conduct therapy sessions over the phone. Studies have shown that therapy over the phone can be very beneficial, especially if it means having access to your therapist in challenging times when coming into an office may not be an option. Your therapist will adequately prepare you for telehealth whether it’s through video or phone.
